Tracey began her career with Meikles in 2009 and specialises in all areas of law concerning children and their welfare. She is a member of the Law Society’s Children’s Panel and regularly appears before county courts throughout the North East and North Yorkshire circuit area.
Tracey has substantial experience in advising and assisting parents who are involved with the local authority and in representing parents and grandparents in care proceedings. She has been instructed in serious cases of alleged non-accidental injuries and sexual abuse cases and has represented children who have been placed in secure accommodation. Tracey has appeared before the president of the family division in a complex jurisdictional case.
Tracey brings a wealth of experience to private law children cases and regularly acts for parents and grandparents to establish contact agreements and also acts in cases of parental alienation.
